Overpronation flat feet is a structural deformity resulting in the lowering of the arch of the foot. This is sometimes referred to as fallen arches. A person with a flat foot or a highly arched foot that is fairly painful is in need of treatment. People with flat feet may have ankle, knee, or low back pain.

When should you see a podiatrist?
A podiatric physician and surgeon is trained specifically in the diagnosis and treatment of the foot and lower leg — including the neurological, circulatory, skin and musculoskeletal systems (bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves). If pain lasts more than a few days, keeps you from walking normally, or you have diabetes, get it checked.
